Going Back to College Series: Are Online Classes Right For Me?

Monday, June 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM until 12:30 PMCentral Daylight Time UTC -05:00

In keeping with SoPA’s mission to bring quality education to working professionals in our New Orleans community, “Going Back to College” virtual sessions will provide relevant content to people considering attending college as an undergraduate, whether for the first time or to complete a degree.  These 30-minute sessions will offer knowledge and tips applicable to college-level coursework for both younger and more experienced adults considering college.

Now might be the right time to try an online class. However, if you have been out of school for a while or you've never taken an online class, you might wonder if it's right for you. Dr. Ilianna Kwaske, SoPA Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Kayla Jutzi, Instructional Designer, will review characteristics of online learning and talk about factors that could help you be a successful online student. Come with questions and learn if online classes are right for you.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
